  BOARD OF DENTISTRY SURVEY

 
The Florida Surgeon General has asked the Board of Dentistry to conduct a survey of licensees asking for specific information on   what type of practice you work in, how many hours, if you are retired and still hold an active license, etc. The survey will be included in your renewal papers. It is important that everyone fill out the survey  so we can have accurate data on hygienists' employment status in Florida.

 Thank you to all my hygiene sisters and brothers  from GODHA for helping make my year as FDHA president an experience I will never forget!  The continuous support from everyone certainly helped me through out the year.  GODHA is a component to be emulated by others.  The dedication of our leadership to the goals of FDHA is outstanding.  Special thanks to President Kae Sylvia and the crew for all you did at the FDHA Symposium for me.  The President's Dinner was remarkable and the reception you put together for me to thank everyone in FDHA was unsurpassed!  Kae, you are definitely the Party Maven!  What fun!!

ADHA NEWS
  September 31st marked the end of the summer 2009-2010 membership billing cycle with the 2010 winter cycle officially opening on October 1st. Our first renewal mailing for winter cycle 2010 is set to hit mail boxes in mid-October with a special promotion to encourage online renewals and a new quarterly payment plan. 
It's quick and easy to sign up for quarterly payments.  Log into your account at www.adha.org.  When you select the option to pay your dues, you'll be able to select the quarterly payment (QP) plan.  In order to participate in the QP Plan you must use a credit or debit card with the Visa or MasterCard logo. The Credit Card transaction fee is $3.00 per quarterly payment.
Once you renew online, you will be enrolled in automatic membership renewal via email and credit card.  By not printing several thousand dues notices a year, ADHA will save money and do its part to help save the planet.  
Bonus: Print on Demand ADHA Membership Card Now Available
Current ADHA members can download an electronic version of their membership card. The e-Card can be accessed by logging into http://www.adha.org/news/real.htm.  Once logged in you will see an option for "Membership Card" in the left hand navigation.  The e-Card can be used just as a plastic membership card. It can prove your membership at CE meetings that have a price reduction for members.
