Greetings!
Thank you to Yvette Blum, Tiffanny Baggs and Martha Merritt for helping me with the Orange County Library presentations. The fourth presentation was canceled due to lack of volunteers. We had a wonderful time handing out information to the little ones and their parents. We answered a lot of dental hygiene questions and had a great time interacting with the children!
I hope everyone was able to fulfill the required continuing education requirements prior to the deadline. GODHA will continue to offer as many credits as possible during the biennium. There is a lot of planning and correspondence prior to a presentation. Thanks to all the members working behind the scenes to put these meetings together. Please note we will not be meeting in March, however, in April we will need nomination of officers for 2010-2011.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS
SPECIAL OLYMPICS/SPECIAL SMILES needs dental hygienists and dentists to conduct oral health screenings and apply fluoride varnishes for the athletes participating in the area games on Sat. March 27. Hygiene students are needed to provide oral health education.
